Our Why
People Are Priceless

-
We believe that God chooses to use His people to walk alongside others in their journeys.
-
We believe it is an honor to join Him in the sacred work of restoration and healing.
-
We believe that true healing and transformation come through His power and presence.
-
We believe that walking together in faith and compassion brings hope and renewal.

At The Oaks, we hold fast to the truth that God can bring complete restoration—turning brokenness and despair into beauty and wholeness. This hope is beautifully reflected in Isaiah 61:1–3.

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of His splendor."

The Oaks genuinely saved my life. I am forever grateful for their counseling center and the care that each and every employee showed me.

Walking in The Oaks front door I felt at peace and calm; something I'd not felt in two years.

My counselor has been a wonderful counselor in my emotional healing process. She is a great listener and was compassionate with my difficulties in a judgment-free zone.

I thought I was worthless, like I had nothing left to give. Words cannot express the ‘lightbulb effect’ that I had because of my counseling sessions.
